The Books

A monthly financial support amount of $50 per month sent to honorable inmates for a six-month period. Essays are submitted.

Welcome Home

A referral program for returning citizens to assist with employment, housing and mental health support with trauma centered training.

Come See Me

A monthly transportation program for families of inmates to assist in visitation to and from facilities, pick up on release date within a 5-hour distance from Washington, DC area.

The Elevation

Workshops & programs to educate returning citizens with job readiness, financial literacy, transition peer support, trauma centered training.

Right to Counsel

A program that offers honorable inmates up to $20,000 to retrieve sufficient counsel for representation in legal matters and trauma centered training to document acts of good faith.

Pilot Program: Honorable Car

The “Honorable Car” Program was introduced to the district in Spring 2021.This program will support reentry and returning citizens in Washington DC.

This intensive pilot program is centered around trauma informed care support & training, job assistance and housing assistance.

Honorable Car: Case Management and Therapy

A methodology which focuses on “Healing Centered”, requires us to infuse our trauma-informed training approach with mental health and clinical services. That is the foundation ofour framework.

Honorable Car’s intensive recovery Program (IRP) supports clients with an immediate need for stabilization of mental health symptoms (E.G., trauma, anxiety, etc.) Clients will then receive case management services for up to six (6) months.
